Prayer for the Animals
God Our Heavenly Father, You created the world to serve humanity's needs and to lead them to You.
By our own fault we have lost the beautiful relationship which we once had with all your creation. Help us to see that
by restoring our relationship with You we will also restore it with all Your creation. We pray for all animals who are
suffering as a result of our neglect. May the order You originally established be once again restored to the whole world
through the intercession of the Glorious Virgin Mary, the prayers of St. Francis and the merits of Your Son, Our Lord Jesus
Crhist Who lives and reigns with you, now and forever. Amen.~Saint Francis of Assisi
Memorial Tributes to friends passed...
Shane, my first relationship with a Scottie. I can still see him rolling watermelons
on the front lawn.
Pussycat, my very own cat. Although her life was short, she provided me with
many hours of entertainment.
Brenna, a.k.a. Brin, 1983-1995. My very first Scottie. My gentle and
courageous friend, I miss her smile and her dance.
Jace, my little fluffy white cat. There was a depth to her soul, one could
see it in her eyes. I miss her sleeping near me.
Fallon, my second Scottie. 1996-1998. I'll never know why she left us so early,
but my heart still breaks when I think of her. I miss her toothy smile, her croons, her jaws clicking, and most of all,
I miss her not being here where she is supposed to be.
Dear Friends
I cradled you in my arms,
And held you in my heart
The day your eyes met mine,
I loved you from the start.
A part of you is with me,
Embedded deep inside,
No matter where you go,
My love for you won't hide.
I see you running in the yard,
Playing with the others,
White as snow and full of life,
Romping with your "sisters and brothers."
Although you left us here on earth,
One day we'll meet again,
And on that day we'll embrace and play,
As forever, we'll be with dear friends.

Memorial Tributes to friends passed...
I remember the pets of my youth; Skampy, Skippy, Pepper, King, Queenie, and DJ.
While I was very young when they were here, all left me with a special memory.
Brandy, my first and only bunny rabbit. A friend that taught me as a child,
about responsibility.
Murphy, my one and only parakeet. 1980-1989. A joy to watch and hear.
Jad, a gentle and fun-loving friend with heart. He loved to catch snow balls
and announce the May turtle's visit.
Shanna, my first Westie. 1980-1994. The bond and love of our friendship
will never fade. Until we meet again, my friend.
Pete, my calm, cool, and collected cat. Beauty and attitude. I miss him kneading
my pillow as I tried to sleep.
Prayer of St. Francis of Assisi
Make me an instrument of
peace,
Where there is hatred let
me show love,
Where there is injury, pardon,
Where there is doubt, faith,
Where there is despair, hope,
Where there is darkness,
light,
And where there is sadness,
joy.
Grant that I may not so much
seek to be consoled as to console,
To be understood as to understand,
To be loved, as to love,
For it is in giving that
we receive,
It is in pardoning that we
are pardoned,
And it is in dying that we
are born to eternal life.
