The Fairmount Park Civic League is in the heart of Norfolk VA and serves the communities of Bells Farm, Kent Park, Willard Park, Fairmount Manor, Fairmount Park, Lafayette Manor, Lafayette Terrace, and Belmont Place.

  By far the most active, the Social Concerns Committee, chaired by Jackie Fisher, is concerned the the welfare of the community. Dealing primarily with the elderly, the Social Concerns Committee seeks out those in need and makes the necessary referrals to programs like HELP, Paint Your Heart Out, SHARE, etc.
  The Area Preservation Committee, chairman Jo Truman, is concerned with the upkeep of area properties. The committee works closely with the Norfolk City Neighborhood Preservation.
  Lamont  Woltz, and the Economic Development Committee deals with the area business community to develop commercial properties.
