My husband Rob is an accountant and works for a large manufacturing company.  He is an avid Eagles fan and enjoys all sports. (Obviously he is the “numbers” person behind the operation.)  My name is Dana, and I recently retired from a career in Special Education.  While I enjoyed every moment of working with staff, parents, and students, I am now pursuing my other passions of writing, illustrating, and photography.  I am the author of the children’s book Stop Bullying Bobby, Sacred Intentions-Depth of Perception (poetry), Visions of Existence-Simplicities in Nature (poetry & art), and am one of 6 co-authors of the inspirational title, Pink Jasper-Gems from the Journey.  My work has appeared in a variety of print and web publications.  I write for the greeting card market as well.  The dogs, and usually the cat, surround me when I work, and of course, are a constant inspiration.  While we love all animals, Westies and Scotties are our favorites. Meet our family; Darby is a Westie who is now 13 years of age, Hanna is also a Westie, age 11, Trevar is our Scottie and he is five, and the last of the crew (dog wise), is Rori, a Westie, age 1.  Kearsey our cat is our senior at almost 18.  This crew and others are the inspiration for all aspects of Credible Critters.  We believe all living creatures have something to say, whether it be with expression, body language, or vocalization.  We try to “listen” and “see,” to capture their thoughts.
