This recipe will feed a whole lotta people, and it tastes great anytime,
whether you’re throwing a football party or a holiday bash.
6 to 8 lb. beef roast
3 small onions
1 medium green pepper
1 stalk celery
2 tbsp. brown sugar
1 tsp. Tabasco sauce
2 tbsp. chili powder
2 tbsp. salt
1 tsp. pepper
1/2 c. water
3 tbsp. barbecue sauce
1 24 oz. bottle ketchup
1 tbsp. Worchestershire Sauce
Put meat in large pot and top with chopped vegetables. Mix other ingredients
(sauces, water, ketchup) and pour on top of roast.
Bake in 325 degree oven for 6 hours. Shred meat and vegetables, then return
to the liquid in the pan. Serve on good rolls.
